Preamble:

29 degrees didn't stop the PAX from posting the day after Thanksgiving for YHC's VQ. We had a solid turnout ready for a 2.0 friendly beatdown to kick off the holiday weekend.

Warm-O-Rama:

We got the blood flowing with

Side Straddle Hops x 20

The Thang:

Round 1: Four Corners

PAX sprinted corner to corner around the football field, stopping at each station to complete the exercise before moving to the next corner:

  • Corner 1: Plank Jacks x 50
  • Corner 2: Carolina Dry Docks x 50
  • Corner 3: Jump Squats x 50
  • Corner 4: No Surrender x 50

Rinse and repeat for 2 full rounds.

Round 2: Bear Crawl

100 yards down the length of the football field AND then back. Thanks Vanna!

Round 3: AMRAP Merkins

In the end zone, PAX gave everything they had left with as many reps as possible.

Round 4: Victory Lap

Group run around the field to bring it home.

COT:

We welcomed an FNG to the Shield Lock and named him Red Card.

Reminders went out for the upcoming Santa Ruck and Christmas party.

YHC led us in prayer for those facing struggles that the holidays can sometimes bring, and for continued connection and community.

We closed with the Pledge and grabbed a picture to commemorate the morning.
