Preamble:

Officially the final week of the year! Giving PAX an option to earn the calories for the Christmas (and holiday) feast! Focus on core, legs and shoulders.

Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:

Run over to the Theater area with the cinder blocks. Use the 4 levels of seating as stages for each set of exercises. Start at one end perform the first exercise, run to the center of the seating area (on the same level) and do the second exercise. Totalling 100 counts of each exercise pair [25 X 2 exercise] at each level: Set 1: Squats with Cinder block & hand release merkins Set 2: Skull crushers with cinder block & calf raises Set 3: Curls with Cinder block &LBCs Set 4: Bent over rows with Cinder block & Bulgarian squats Set 5: Single Leg Romanian Dead Lifts (free hand) & Mountain Climbers Ran out of time on set 5 - so did 50 of each only on level one and mosey back to the flag

Announcements - Tower of Power on New Year's Eve Taking the Knee for 30 seconds to reflect on the year that has been and the good monemtum that we want to carry into the new year ahead.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

While the teams start planning for SMR and get their respective training underway its important to focus on building strength on core. Doing this via regular beat downs will reduce the risk of injury as the PAX accelerate post the new year with more days of running. [that's my personal lesson learnt from BRR / S2S last year]. Nice to see some of the regulars who I haven't met for sometime -  Whiz, Napalm. Personally, still struggling with the counting..but I'm planning to keep Qing till I get it right!
