Preamble:
Valley Girl needed a substi-Q, so I took it! Wanted to do a non-traditional Mantooth Q and incorporate ZERO running (also wanted to save the legs for Scampi’s 38 miler birthday run tomorrow). So put it on Slack for guys to bring a cinder.Warm-O-Rama:
We stayed right where we parked our vehicles and performed SSHs, Good Mornings, Windmills, Moroccan Night Clubs, Weed Pickers, and Michael Phelps OYO. Then we jumped right into it.The Thang:
I had to alter the plans a bit because not everyone had a cinder, but it worked out well. PAX partnered up with one cinder. The focus for today was on Arms and Abs, so I called it the Gun Show & Gut Check. For the Gun Show, we had three rounds of 5 exercises with 10 reps each. Partner A would perform the first exercise while Partner B would hold a high plank, then switch. Continue for each exercise for the first round. Low plank for the second, and back to high plank for the third round. Gun Show (10 reps each for 3 rounds)- Overhead Press
- Curls (for the girls)
- Skull Crushers
- Bent Over Rows
- Cinder Merkins
- American Hammers (Cumming Count)
- BBS
- Toe Taps
- Flutters (Cumming Count)
- Plank Pull-Throughs (drag the cinder from one side of your body through to the other side)
