When: 2025-12-17

QIC: Yeah-Yeah

PAX (12): Ditch Witch, Fauci, Geek Squad, Mantooth, Maybelline, Mutumbo, Samsonite, Schrute, Seaman, The Body, Yeah-Yeah, Roast Beef

Preamble:

YHC is dealing with ongoing knee problems, so decided to do a 0.0 beatdown. Got a new deck of waterproof cards and came up with a relay game.

Warm-O-Rama:

Stayed put and did:
  • Weed Pickers
  • Good Mornings
  • Moroccan Night Clubs
  • Willie Mays Hays
  • Quad Stretch (OYO)
  • Michael Phelps (OYO)

The Thang:

10 MIN AMRAP: Started off with a 5-minute timer. One group grabbed a coupon or two and either did Farmer Carry or Rifle Carry around the parking lot while the other group did 10 Carolina Dry Docks, 15 Imperial Squat Walkers and 20 Gas Pumpers AMRAP. After 5 minutes the groups switched.   DECK OF CARDS RELAY: Split into 2 teams. Deck was shuffled and split into 2 even piles with a Joker in each pile. Hearts = Merkins, Diamonds = BBS, Clubs = Squats and Spades = Burpees. Card is number of reps with Jack, Queen and King cards = 10, Aces = 14 and Joker = Other team does 4 Wolverines. One person from each team would bear crawl to the center and choose a card from their pile. Team (including the chooser) would complete the exercise and then the chooser would bear crawl back. Next guy up would repeat until all cards were completed. Goal was to finish your deck first. Losing team had to finish their deck while some of the winning team watched, while others jumped in.   MARY: Back to the flag with a few minutes to spare. Circled up for a Ring of Merkin Fire (4 reps each).

COT:

Count-o-rama, Name-o-rama and TOTD: Enjoy the holiday season and be present. Emphasized the importance of COT. Encouraged PAX to speak out if they have something on their mind/heart.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

Winding down my time here with this group (truly embracing the "Longest Goodbye" award). Knee troubles are keeping me from being able to fully participate and it is a hard pill to swallow. I want to be ITG as often as possible before moving because I'll sure miss everyone. It was an honor to lead, and I am grateful for the men who showed up!
