Preamble:

The Sky Q must have heard YHC's plea. With just a week left in 2025 and Grindstone the being the last AO YHC had not Q'd at this year, there was growing concern that the goal of Q'ing at all F3 Cumming AO's in 2025 would not be met. But Ma Bell asked for a last minute substi-Q and YHC leaped at the opportunity.

Warm-O-Rama:

The Thang:

YHC wanted to do something a little different to start this Q. YHC wanted the PAX to reflect on their 2025 and have a chance to lead an exercise at the last Grindstone beatdown of 2025. So the beatdown started with a round of Meaningful Mary. Each PAX would say something they were grateful for or felt like they did well in 2025 and call and lead an exercise. After all PAX had gone, the descending pyramid began.   The countdown pyramid was split in half. The PAX would perform exercises in a decrementing fashion, after that round PAX performed an indian run around the parking lot and back to the pavillion. Then roubd 2 commenced and was followed by anothwr indian run. After the second round PAX had time to work their way back up the round 1 side of the pyramid. The exercises were as follows: Round 1:
  • 25 squats
  • 20 American Hammers (Cumming count)
  • 15 LBCs
  • 10 lunges (Cumming count)
  • 5 burpees
Indian run Round 2:
  • 25 BBSUs
  • 20 flutter kicks (Cumming Count)
  • 15 merkins
  • 10 heels to Heaven
  • 5 burpees
Indian run PAX had enough time for a round 3 which was round 1, but beginning at burpees and going up. Indian run to flag 1 minute plank until time.

COT:

Prayers for the PAX, their families, or any others struggling over the holidays. Priase for those celebrating victories in their life big or small.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

It was an honor to get out and lead the PAX at the last Grindstone beatdown of 2025.   During Meaningful Mary, many PAX expressed gratitude for F3 and the brothers that make up this great organization. YHC echos that sentiment.   Awhile back Snowman said something to YHC that YHC did not understand. Snowman said, "Lean on these guys." At that time that sentence and calling each other "brother" didn't make a whole lot of sense to YHC either, as YHC's family relationship was not great. But after being a part of F3 for a few years now, it makes more sense. This group of guys is here for one another. To push, pick up, and be there for each other. Without this group, YHC would not have been able to start to heal, and begin trying to mend broken bonds in his own life. F3 has helped restore YHC's belief in the word, "Brother". And no number of words can express the gratitude felt for that.   Thank you, Brothers.
