Preamble:

Unplanned change of Site Q due to YHC's employer deciding to move me to Virginia.  New Site Q, Lightweight, and YHC co-Q'd this beatdown as a symbolic gesture to passing the flag.

Warm-O-Rama:

Run the usual loop SSH, Abe Vigoda, Grass Grabbers, Hillbilly Walkers, and Bat Wings on MAX

The Thang:

Start with Ruby: 11's up and down the hill.  Merkins on one end, Squats on the other.  Travel uphill was a Bernie, travel downhill was a Mosey.  Monkey Humpers for the 6. Switchover to Lightweight: Buncha bodyweight pain-producers, with merkin variations, calf raises, leg lifts, gas pumps, and more.  Running involved, too.  Up and down that same little hill for extra-extra. Wrap it up with Six Minutes of Mary, led around the circle with Pax favorites.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

This morning we had an unexpected guest.  As the pax were assembling just prior to 0530, a young lady walked up towing a suitcase and carrying some other bags.  This is not normal at Matt Park, and we watched her carefully.  At one point she came over and joined our Beat Down.  Afterwards, we gave her some hot coffee and engaged her in conversation.  As men, and especially a group on 9 men, we felt it was our moral obligation to ensure she was safe; short version of this story is, we ended up having Forsyth County's Finest come out and do a "wellness check" on her (I'm sure there is a more appropriate term, but she clearly was not well).  About an hour later, I saw her again walking down the shoulder of 369.  So clearly, the professionals decided she was not a risk to herself or others.  I dunno.  Seems like what people say about mental health care in America might be something for us to look hard at. In other thoughts, I shared how this coming move will be my third move with F3 - I actually look for AO locations as part of the house hunting process.  F3 is such a strong brotherhood, gotta have it.  Getchasum.
