10 pax left the fartsack for a round of suicides followed by a burpee chaser. Always a great way to start your hump day. It was a little chilly this morning, and last night’s downpour left the fields underwater. So we improvised in the parking lot. Here is what happened.
Warmup: IC
- SSH
- Imperial Walker
- Cotton Picker
- Squats
The Thang:
Mosey to the parking lot behind the field. Line up for suicides with a different exercise at each cone. Home cone was always 5 burpees. First cone was 20 Carolina drydocks. 2nd cone was 20 diamond merkins. 3rd cone was 20 hands release merkins. 4th cone was 20 monkey humpers. Run a lap. If the 6 was still going, everyone catches the 6 and finishes together. Second round of suicides but with different exercises. 20 LBCs at home. 25 boxcutters at 1st cone. 25 flutterkicks at 2nd cone. 25 dollys at 3rd cone. 25 crunchy frogs at 4th cone. Run a lap and catch up with 6. Finish back where we started.
We then went into a couple minutes of air chair straight into 10 jump squats then back to air chair. Back and forth for several minutes. Feel the bern with this one.
Next came the chaser. One partner does 5 burpees while the other partner backpedals as fast as he can. When done with the burpees, partner catches the other pax and switches. Now partner 1 is backpedaling while parter 2 does 5 burpees. On and on for 5 minutes.
Mosey back to the flag. Quick pit stop for some slow tempo merkins. Then 5 minutes of Mary back at the flag. COT and prayers.
