PAX (5): Mr. Hand, Pinkman, Soul Glo, Todd Doherty l F3 UMass, Tsunami
Preamble:
With Super Bowl LVIII coming up this Sunday, it was a perfect opportunity to put together a Super Bowl themed beatdown. Hopefully Roger Goodell doesn't try to sue me for trademark infringement.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey to the baseball complex for SSH, Weed Pickers, Willie Mayes Hayes, Sun Gods.
The Thang:
Thang 1
With the Chiefs Representing the AFC we incorporated an "Indian run" but also leaning into Andy Reid's innovative passing offense it wasn't just a regular Indian run. The Pax at the end of the line would first need to catch the football which was thrown from the first in line. If the ball was dropped all PAX we awarded a 5 merkins penalty. We made our way from the baseball fields, through the lower parking lot and up to the football field. Happy to say the completion percentage improved greatly as we moved along.
Thang 2
Mosey to the far end zone and gave instructions, we completed a different exercise every 10 yards and tied the number of reps to the yard line. The exercises spelt out SUPER BOWL and we alternated the mode of transportation between yard lines, rotating bear crawl, back peddle, and carioca.
10 - Sumo Squats
20 - Up Downs
30 - Plank Jacks
40 - E2Ks
50 - Reverse LBCs
HALFTIME: now that we were half way through the work out, the Q updated the playlist to Yeah by Usher and completed some exercises in cadence:
Up straddle hops, Sun Gods, Hillbillies, Elbow Plank, Rosalitas
40 - Bonnie Blairs
30 - Outlaws
20 - Werkins
10 - Lt. Dans
Thang 3
YHC has been looking for a reason to utilize the grass hill at the front of the AO, and since we already represented the Chiefs it was time to incorporate the 49ers into this BD. PAX did some Jerry Rice repeats up and down the hill.
Mosey the long way back to the flag completing passes and showing off our arm strength along the way.
Finished with 5 mins of Mary.
COT:
Grateful for these men and the opportunity to lead this morning.
