Preamble:
Hoping this was going be the last Wreck beat down I would Q before the boot comes off, I wanted to have some fun and tried to come up with something creative for the crew to get into this morning. As 5:30 hit, we headed off the football parking lot for warm-ups.
Warm-O-Rama:
- Imperial Walkers
- Weed Pickers
- Toy Soldiers
- One foot Merkins
The Thang:
First we all got a space on the curb in the parking lot and did a round of “Round the world Merkins.” Pax would start off with a incline Merkin on the curb and move counter-clockwise doing 15 Merkins for each directions.
After we got our pecks poppin we headed down to the field and got in teams of 3. All the teams lined up on the 50 yard line and took turns racing each other. Race consisted of 1 PAX sitting in the sled and 2 pushing. Racers would go the goal line, turn around and come back. The rest of the PAX would do an exercise the Q called out until the racers returned. After several rounds all the lactic acid in Roswell had completely filled everyone’s legs the Q called it.
We headed to the stadium to do some dips, inclines Merkins and some stadium sprints. It was them back thru the field to pick up the sled and do one more round clockwise of the “Round the World” Merkins to finish it out.
COT:
- Reminder to sign up for the Iron Pax Challenge
- AFLAC needs another runner for the BRR in two weeks that can use both feet. $50 says Bronco won’t do it!
- TCLAPS for all the PAX that did the GrowRuck this past weekend. Looked like a hell of a challenge and hate I couldn’t be out in the gloom with you all.
Naked-Man Moleskin:
Encouraged all the PAX to both encourage each other and also challenge themselves to find their purpose in life. Couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this fellowship. Thank you all for what you bring to my life.
