Preamble:

YHC was an OG member of the Grindstone from the beginning but hadn't been back in a while due to other AO commitments around the Alpha. So it was good to be back and lead this fine group of HIM. 4 PAX answered the call and here is what went down.

Warm-O-Rama:

Head towards the back of the park for a normal routine of:
  • Side Straddle Hop
  • Imperial Walker
  • Weed Twister (like the weed picker but doing a side turn as you clap)
Continue the warmup by running the trail until we popped out by the hill.

The Thang:

THANG 1 Hill 11's:  Carolina drydocks at bottom, Imperial Walker at top THANG 2  Head up to the big parking lot for 4 corners. 10 burpees at the first, then 15 merkins, then 20 plank jacks and finally 15 jump squats. THANG 3 Head towards the flag and grab a coupon. On to the football field for the first leg of the Quarter Pounder.
  • Run to the 25 yard line (quarter field) for 25 merkins, backward mosey back to the end line
  • Run to the 50 yard line (mid-field) for 50 squats, backward back
  • Run to the 75 yard line (three quarter field) for 75 LBC, backward back
  • Run to the 100 yard line (opposite goal line) for 100 SSH, backward back
Round 2 was a Quarter Pounder with Cheese (rock in hand, but same routine as above, leaving your rock each time as you run backwards)
  • 25 skull crushers
  • 50 overhead press
  • 75 bent over rows
  • 100 curls
BONUS THANG Head to the wall for a Balls to the Wall. 30 second hold, an extra 15 seconds for bonus. Time running out, we headed back to the flag for 2 minutes of Mary.

COT:

TCLAPS to the 3 pre-runners which included Dirty Nelly who had to dip before the beatdown. A few prayers and praise were spoke. Thanks for having me back out, it is always an honor to lead. Aye!
