Preamble:

I was running about 5 minutes late so when I got there, Fish Finger and Toadstool was there ready to go, so we rucked up and headed out. As the discussion went we decided to just ruck it up so as the true start time of 530 got close, I glanced at my watch and thought.. should we circle back and see if anyone else is going to show up, and I thought, nah.. So we just kept rucking and talking... Not the best call since Beanz got to the AO right at 530 ready to go, duh!!

Warm-O-Rama:

Well if you count the ruck for Fish fingers, Toadstool and me and the solo run for Beanz, that would be the warm up.

The Thang:

  • OK quick reminder of the morning... Always circle back on holiday BD weeks to make sure no one showed up, especially if PAX put in a last minute HC, sorry again Beanz.
  • Fish Fingers, Toadstool and I got in a solid 3.2 mile (5K-ish) ruck and as we rounded the turn to head back to the pavilion we saw Beanz run towards us calling out Script Kiddie, and I have to give him TClaps for not heading out when he could not find us.  Beanz took the chance to get a solid run in and not just head home after not finding the other PAX... Well Done Sir!!
  • At that point I wanted to get in a miniBD to make Beanz trip worth the gas/times sooo it was time to introduce my 5Alive funfest
  • 5Alive time Do 5 reps of 5 types of merkins 5 regular merkins, 5 wide merkins, 5 diamond merkins, 5 ranger merkins, 5 hand released merkins 50 SSHs 1minute high plank Mosey up the steps and at the top 5 Burpees, then back down Do 5 reps of 5 types of leg exercise 5 squats, 5 jump squats, 5 lunges, 5 reverse lunges, 5 bonnie blairs 50 SSHs 1minute Air chair Mosey up the steps and at the top 5 Burpees, then back down Do 5 reps of 5 types of ab exercises 5 LBCs, 5BBSU, 5 WW2 situps, 5 leg raises, 5 JLos 50 SSHs 1minute Leg raise hold Mosey up the steps and at the top 5 Burpees, then back down We only did one round since at this point it was already well past 45 minutes of BD. Good post BD mumblechatter and discussion of holiday plans then it was time to start the day. I am thankful for a great turn out and another chance to get a bit better and I love the verse that sums up F3 Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron,     so one person sharpens another.
