Preamble:

Got called in late for a SubstiQ. First time Qing at Black Water and knew The Landing Strip would be involved.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the bottom of The Landing Strip where we did:
  • SSH (IC)
  • Good Mornings (IC)
  • Willie Mays Hays (IC)
  • Baskins-Approved Weed Pickers (IC)
  • Michael Phelps (OYO)

The Thang:

7,220 - A nod to the elevation level of the highest region - F3 Laramie (Wyoming)
  • 7 Merkins then run to top of The Landing Strip
  • 2 Burpees then run back down to the start
  • 20 Squats then repeat (not sure how many rounds we did)
  Mosey to Amphitheater 
  • 7's with BBS and Gas Pumpers. Climb the amphitheater steps in between.
  • Up at the staircase we partnered up. One partner went up and down the stairs while the other did Heels to Heaven. 2 burpees at the top of the stairs which eventually turned into hand-release burpees.
  Mary 
  • Took the long mosey route back to the flag
  • Ring of Merkins (4 reps, 5 reps) where YHC had the honor of slowing down the last 5 merkins till time

What a great morning ITG! Black Water was where my F3 journey started so I was glad to be able to lead this morning there for the first time. Brought up a similar message as I did last Friday and Grindstone - mental health. Important year-round, but this time of year can be harder. Please talk to someone if you need help.
