It was warm, it was muggy, it was 4.5 miles at an 8:43 pace.

From downtown, south down Haynes Bridge.
The 3 of us got a little nervous as 3 people are on the sidewalk randomly in the dark as we approach. PAX get off sidewalk and onto the road. Someone once told me “nobody is up this early but cops and crooks” and these people didn’t look like cops.
Whew! Just a bus stop….
The good news is Mercury was with us. It would have 3 on 3, and Mercury assured us he would have yelled “give me the big one!” and DC2 and YHC would take the smaller two. But nothing happened, we kept moving.
Left onto Westside, over State Bridge, down Westside along Avalon. Left on to Webb Bridge up the hills to downtown.
Good run, good job by the guys keeping it moving.
If you want to get an edge on the PAX, reach a certain goal, or just have some more experience getting up at 4:50, the Friday run is awesome.
That sounds like my story this morning. I was waiting at the bus stop when I see these three guys randomly approaching and running toward us. They didn’t look like cops though one of them was yelling commands to everybody. Fortunately for me, hot sauce’s girlfriend said she would take the big one. The other two looked like stick men and a hot sauce and I know we can take stick men. I guess the stick men knew that too because they bailed quickly!
