Preamble:
Got there a bit past 5, and with Fish Finger already there and SirMixalot fighting something it was time to get an early start since I had to head out before 6Warm-O-Rama:
- Walked to the standard starting spot attached to the speaker then started the fun
- SSH
- Weed pickers
- Copper head squats
- Windmills
- Michael Phelps (OYO)
The Thang:
- Suarez did a diffrent version of B.O.M.B.S. a few weeks ago so I wanted to show Fish Fingers how I lead them 5 Burpees
- Take a short lap
- 5 Burpees, 10 Overhead claps
- Take a short lap
- 5 Burpees, 10 Overhead claps, 15 Merkins
- Take a short lap
- 5 Burpees, 10 Overhead claps, 15 Merkins
- Take a short lap
- 5 Burpees, 10 Overhead claps, 15 Merkins, 20 BBSU
- Take a short lap
- 5 Burpees, 10 Overhead claps, 15 Merkins, 20 BBSU, 25 Squats
- At one point the B.O.M.B.S. the Bring Sally up song came on sooooo, we had to modify and hold air chair until the phrase Bring Sally up was heard,then we did a squat, I think somehow I ended up having the extended version of the song on the play list, which made it a bit more challenging
- Thang 2
- Time for 7s on the mound
- Bib boy-Snow angels on one side
- Bear crawl to the top of the mound
- 3 Diamond merkins as toll at the top
- On the other side do deep squat/half squat to a jump
- After that we had time for.... Everest
- 2 calf raises on the first group of steps
- 4 calf raises on the second group of steps
- 6 calf raises on the 3rd groups of steps
- 8 calf raises on the 4th group of steps
- With a minute or 2 left we had just enough time to do 5 Hand Release Burpees
- And with that time was up
COT:
- Acceleration point
- What we are not willing to change becomes something we are willing to accept, so work on improving 1% better every day and we will not get it right all the time, the key is just working to get a bit better every day
Naked-Man Moleskin:
- It had been awhile since I had lead a full/non ruck BD but it was good to get out and get it done
