Preamble:

A few weeks ago, Grimace approached YHC about Q'ing Grindstone (like a good site Q does!) Having been jilted by EVERYONE the first time YHC Q'd Grindstone, I was naturally snakebitten - fool me once and all that. Nevertheless, I picked up my wounded pride, accepted the invitation, and signed up to Q. Note that it was supposed to have been on the 5th. But due to a race YHC had on the 6th, Grimace was gracious enough to swap with me.

Warm-O-Rama:

Standard 1/2 mile(ish) warmup jog and circle up across from the gay UNC pink dumpsters. I know nobody around here cares about the NC State / UNCheat rivalry, but I do. So, by gawd, you're all going to "celebrate" the 5th straight Wolfpack ass-whuppin' of the Tarholes with me! Circle up for
  • 42 SSH (which just happens to be the number of Wolfpack points)
  • 19 standard merkins (which just happens to be the number of points we allowed the Tar Babies)
  • 10 Squats

The Thang:

*exercises = round 1: No-cheat Merkins; round 2: Carowhina Crydocks; round 3: Heels Can Go to Hells Thang 2 Jog back past the flag to the Big Wall of Champions in between the 2 football fields and partner up for 3 rounds of the following:
  • P1 does Australian Mountain Climbers while P2 does 10 Prisoner Squats
  • Flapjack

Naked-Man Moleskin:

  • In contrast to the good old fashioned clean hate (or whatever) lovefest between UGa and GaTech, there is good old-fashioned sinful hate between NC State and UNC. And I mean hate that goes back to the 1700s. The English language does not have an adjective that adequately describes the depth of hate NC State has for UNC (and a true UNC non-Walmart fan has for NC State). The UNCheat/Dook rivalry in basketball is a modern, ESPN-fabricated farce. There is no real hate there between those 2 pompous universities.
  • I'll be happy to give you the history of egregious wrongs perpetrated against the good guys in Raleigh by the cheating horde of arrogant bastards in Chapel Hill any time. Get a couple of bourbons in me and I'll give you the profanity-laced version.
  • Welcome home and congratulations to Omaha and Bill Dance. It was good to see you both this morning!
