Sandy!

Preamble:

YHC put out the call for the PAX to bring sandbags, but only 1 showed up - mine! No matter, we can share. You boys really should add a quality sand bag to your fitness equipment inventory!

Warm-O-Rama:

Run around the parking lot until everyone has taken a turn carrying ol Sandy then circle up for some SSH, Merkins, and Good Mornings before moseying over to the football field

The Thang:

The Sandy Shuttle - Partner up with each pair taking turns running with the sand bag together from one goal line to the other and back. We did 3 rounds of this with time hacks of 1 minute, 55 seconds, and 50 seconds respectively. For every second over the time hack, the PAX had to do a burpee. Amazingly, we only did 1 burpee. Funny, how a time hack with threat of penalty motivates the PAX. I should have started at 45 seconds and gone down from there! [makes a note]

Next, we went the individual route. First round was a bear crawl to the 20 yd line, dragging Sandy along with you, then run back with her. Second round was to run with Sandy to the 50 yd line and back, lunge walking the last 10 yds.

While partners or individuals were taking Sandy out for a spin, the rest of the PAX did rotating exercises of the Qs choice. We finished exactly on time. As planned.

• Announcements: Snowman's 6th year maniversary and sobriety, Myagi's final Q in GA tomorrow at Wolf Den

Naked-Man Moleskin:

• McFly can fly. So can Tricky. They should be Pre-running with us! At least that what Snowman suggested. 4 times.
• Speaking of Tricky, he and Brickyard kindly partnered with me on the 3 Sandy Shuttles and pretty much dragged me up and down the field
• We had our first-ever COT on the football field at Grindstone. It was glorious with the pre-sunrise on the horizon
• Since the site Q was absent, the ensuing pledge of allegiance was conducted facing some direction that hopefully might have a flag, or at least might have had one at some point
