Preamble:

Booked this flight to Grindstone in advance to save some money. Let the party begin.

Warm-O-Rama:

Mosey to the tag office lot, circle up and did

Mosey back to pick up coupons and headed to the football field.

The Thang:

DORA: 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs and 300 squats. Partner Farmer Only carry both coupons ~15 yards (it was dark and hard to see a line) and back. THE CYCLE: 4 cones in the shape of a baseball infield (roughly 15 paces between). Bear crawl to first base, deposit 3 burpees, mosey back to home plate. Bear crawl to second base, deposit 6 burpees, mosey back to home plate. Bear crawl to third base, deposit 9 burpees, mosey back to home plate. Bear crawl all the way around for a home run (headfirst slide into home). Next time the cones get spaced at 25 paces like we did at Phoenix. Gas pumpers and heels to heaven waiting on the 6. WORLD'S WORST INDIAN RUN: it was the worst only in the sense that not everyone understood how to actually do an Indian Run. RING OF FIRE: circled up for a round of monkey humpers (5 reps) and merkins (3 reps then 4 reps). 300 YARD SHUTTLE RUN: down and back to the 50 yard line 3 times for 300 yards total. MARY: 6 inch (a true 6 inches) Cross Hold for what seemed like a long time.

Honored to lead this AM at Grindstone! I brought up the subject of a 30:30 we did a while back at Phoenix - Self Talk. This time of year is tough for a number of reasons. Pay attention to your inner voice. If you feel like you are in a good head space, keep it up and help someone out. If you aren't in a good headspace, don't be afraid to reach out. You talk to yourself more than anyone else - be kind.
