With blackjack working so well at Firehouse yesterday, YHC decided one good turn deserved another and had the PAX do blackjack again. This time, the two exercises were squats and flutter kicks. If PAX finished the exercise, they held a plank while waiting on the 6. After 16 sets were completed, in the interest of time, the PAX headed back to the flag and finished the beatdown with Mary. During Mary, PAX completed 51 calf raises, 31 LBC's, 30 merkins, and finished with reverse calf raises.COT:

Naked-Man Moleskin:
Since finding out I'm going to be a father, and other current world events, I often think about what my son and the world will be like when he becomes a man. I then think about how I could best prepare him for whatever the state of the world may be. There aren't any answers now, but I often think back to my childhood and about what may have helped me during difficult times. I look toward others as well. So far, I am fairly certain of two things:- I need to be strong. Not only physically or mentally, but spiritually as well in order to be a good leader and example for my family. The beatdowns are perfect reminders that physical strength is a building block, but the real power comes from the mental and spiritual resolve to keep moving.
- I need to be the change I wish to see in the world.
