The Thang:
- Mosey to parking lot near pathway to baseball fields by main park entrance.
- If you wanna be a baller, you gotta have ups. PAX moved forward doing a series of 10 lunges (standard count) followed by 5 jump-squats that required a reach and “slam dunk” at the top making their way to a “basketball court” formed by cones in the main parking lot.
- On basketball court, PAX did a play on the traditional “line drill” aka “gasser drill” going from 5 different cones which served as five different stations. All PAX started on the first cone doing 20 reps, and then at each cone PAX had to complete 20 reps of that exercise, going back to the first cone after each and doing another 20 reps there as if running the line drill on the court. This was completed twice, totaling 40 reps at each station, which the exception of station 1 which was a total of 200 reps (Cumming Count). Cone 1 (Mountain Climbers – 200); Cone 2 (LBCs – 40); Cone 3 (Burpees - 40); Cone 4 (Merkins - 40); Cone 5 (Flutter Kicks - 40, Cumming Count).
- PAX next retrieved a coupon and did 2 sets of 20 reps each of C.O.B.S. (Curls, Overhead Press, Bent-Over Rows, and Skull-Crushers) for a total of 40 reps of each exercise.
- PAX next did an Indian Run which featured the leader of the run having to dribble a basketball and then passing the ball to the next leader who would then dribble.
- Ended with MARY which consisted of Boat/Canoe, 100s’, and Dying Cockroaches.
COT:
- Prayers of blessing sent up for all PAX at Grindstone.
