The Thang:

  • Next, let’s partner up. We’ll be methodically making our way to the track and field. One of the partners did 10 squats while the other farmer carried as far as he could. Then, the squatter ran and took over the farmer's carry. The other partner did 10 squats, runs, switches, and repeats until we were at the track. Hold a plank until the six makes it to the track.
  • Block 1 12 Cindy Squats – hold one block at chest height 10 Reverse Lunges (with Cindy) 10 Jump Squats (bodyweight) 1 Lap - Run/Walk
  • Block 2 12 Cindy Chest Press 10 Cindy Overhead Press 12 Merkins 2 Laps Run/Walk
  • Block 3 12 Cindy American Hammers 10 Cindy LBCs 44-sec Plank Hold 1 Laps Run/Walk
  • Block 4 10 Blockees 12 Cindy Curls for the Girls 2 Laps Run/Walk
  • Block 5 10 Cindy Thrusters (squat + press) 12 Cindy Bent Over Row Finish Strong Pick up the six
  • Each person carried their Cindy back to the flag, Plank until 6 is in, and Mary until time called.

    • Prayers for Nextel and his family as they mourn the loss and also celebrate the life of his mom, Judy Walters.
    • Prayers for the PAX to stay strong and continue ITG (and not drop) as temperatures drop.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I talked about the idea of our bodies being the temple of God/Holy Spirit and eating like crap over the weekend on a trip. I was challenged personally to treat my body better, and talked about the idea of putting in so much work at beatdowns and then sabotaging that work. Snowman reminded us of the idea of GIGO - Garbage In, Garbage Out. We also talked about what we see, read, and listen to. What would be the opposite of GIGO? Good in, Good out? Or, Great In, Great Out. I loved that all six PAX continued with 2nd F at Firebucks and went deeper in conversation and support.
