Preamble:
We need to get hard to go deep. This workout was designed to do just that.Warm-O-Rama:
Standard 1 mile warm-up run plus some Good Mornings, punctuated by a too-long conversation of some dude in a truck who hurt in knees in 'nam.The Thang:
Thang 1: Mosey up to the football field for The Beast (6 rounds, 6 stops each round, 6 exercises at each stop). The round was the perimeter of the field- 1st round - standard merkins
- 2nd round - Bonnie Blairs
- 3rd round - diamond merkins
- 4th round - Apollo Onos
- 5th round - world's worst merkins
- 6th round - burpees (crowd favorite)
- 25 curls then run to the end of the parking lot and back
- 25 overhead presses then run to the end of the parking lot and back
- oops we ran out of time. Was supposed to be 25 squats

Extended deep sharing COT the themes of which were to stay on the path, trust in Him to lead you there, be present and live in the moment, don't chase happiness but experience the joys along the way. Other prayers were offered as well YHC took us out in prayerNaked-Man Moleskin:
